No mother will feel too happy seeing her beloved baby having a face full of pimples, but it just happens sometimes. This is commonly called baby acne, similar to what most teenagers and young adults suffer from.
Like the common acne, there is no single known cause for acne. Also, extremely effective baby acne treatments seem to be unknown too. This is coupled with the fact that babies usually have delicate and sensitive skin. In fact, it is generally recommended for baby acne to be left alone and heal on its own.
One possible cause of acne is due to hormonal changes that occur due to the separation from the mother’s womb. While not all babies will be affected by baby acne, some will. Other possible reasons include reaction to formula as well as post natal medications.
Fortunately, this kind of acne tends to go away by itself, usually in just a few days. For some babies, the condition may last a bit longer, up to several weeks or more. Usually, baby acne will not show up until the baby is a few weeks old.
First time parents are usually more concern and understandably so. They are concern about the beauty of their baby. However, there is usually no need to get too frantic about the condition.
What is more important is a basic understanding of what this kind of acne is about. First, it is not caused by dirt or the lack of hygiene. Never attempt scrubbing or it can make it worse.
Usually, it should be treated with regular bathing, using mild baby soap. As mentioned above, a baby’s skin is incredibly delicate. Only light sponge bathing is required even if baby acne is present.
Sometimes, baby acne just seems to be very persistent and doesn’t seem like it is going to heal any time soon. In this kind of situation, some parents may start to feel panic. They may even be tempted to medicate the skin themselves. Try to avoid doing so.
Creams used to treat teenage and adult acne are not designed with the baby’s delicate skin in mind. They are only meant for teenage and adults. Self medicating may hurt the fragile skin of a baby. If the condition is really serious, it is best to consult a doctor. The doctor will decide what the best treatment available for the baby is.
Baby acne is perhaps a phase that many babies will have to go through. While all parents want their babies to be pretty, there is usually no major cause for concern as it will usually pass.
If the condition get too serious, never attempt self medication. Seeking medical assistance is definitely a much better approach.

Trying To Cure Acne?
Learn how to get rid of acne naturally and safely fast.
Isn’t skin a wonderful thing to have?
An obvious benefit of skin is that it protects our bodies’ internal organs from harmful elements like dirt, insects, bites, toxic chemicals, nasty weather, and the like, and it certainly is more attractive than what’s underneath.
When skin is healthy it’s nice to look at, but when it’s diseased, it can not only affect you physically, but more painfully can cause stress and social problems.
Like the common cold, acne and similar skin diseases can be treated and covered up, but cannot really be cured. The best treatment is prevention and knowledge about what makes your skin happy, so that you can avoid skin care enemies and breakout triggers.
The real cause of acne can vary from individual to individual, but some factors can be stated with relative certainty:
1. Acne occurs when pores or hair follicles become blocked or clogged.
2. There are basically 4 types of acne manifestations: whiteheads, blackheads, pimples, and nodules.
3. Acne can appear pretty much anywhere on the skin, though it causes the most concern when it shows up on the face. The worst forms of acne break out, however, on the chest and back, and most commonly on males rather than females because of hormonal differences.
4. There are many common myths and untruths about acne, rosacea, and other skin care problems.
Some acne myths include “you’ll outgrow it, so leave it alone”, “being out in the sun helps acne”, “acne problems are directly or indirectly proportionate to sexual activity”, “acne visits dirty people”, “acne is contagious”, and too many more to list in this short article.
The sad thing is that belief in the myths can be devasting, in that proper treatment is avoided, and lifestyle changes that don’t need to be made can take away pleasure unnecessarily.
For example, at one point in my life, I truly believed that I was allergic to chocolate and that it caused my breakouts. Whenever I would succumb to the temptation and have “just a little” I would stress out waiting for the red spots, and sure enough they would appear.
After several years and much experimentation, I learned I had no allergy, the stress was a trigger for me, and a new over the counter face scrub has kept me in the clear ever since.
Knowing what triggers your breakouts can be the difference between constant battles and healthy skin. The Internet is a wonderful place to get the information you need, so stop stressing out and learn what it takes to put your best face forward.

Mild to moderate acne affects 3 out of every 4 teens, so most of the population never needs severe acne remedies.
But if you are one of those who suffer from severe acne, more drastic and severe remedies are what you need.
Acne as a skin disease, includes blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, under skin cysts, infected hair follicles, and often times, if you are suffering from an acute or severe attack, these symptoms can last for months before the remedies begin to work.
Despite the severe acne remedies, permanent scars can remain. And because the American public is so focused on “looks”- there can be psychological scarring as well.
The key is finding severe acne remedies that will work for you and reduce the risk of permanent damage.
The most important of acne remedies is to keep the skin clean and clear of dirt and oil. This means washing the area several times daily with soap and water, hydrogen peroxide, or specialty cleansers to prevent toxic material from getting lodged into the skin.
This is not the cause of acne, but may compound it.
The second acne remedy will require you to become sensitive to your eating habits.
A healthier system will function better and reduce infection, and include drinking a gallon of water a day to flush your system.
You want to keep your system flushed of toxins, and to identify any foods, such as chocolate, which irritate your condition.
As for severe acne remedies or treatments, consult a dermatologist so that he/she can prescribe the best acne medication for the skin.
Oral antibiotics such as tetracycline and erythromycin are sometimes used in treating severe cases of acne.
Isotretinoin is a drug related to Vitamin A which has proven effective, hormonal therapies are also used especially with women when nothing else will work, and Corticosteroid is a powerful anti-inflammatory that is prescribed for very short times to treat the most severe acne .
While 100% treatable, it could take weeks or months to bring severe acne under control even with the best medication.
Severe acne remedies and treatments should be geared towards the individual’s needs and condition.

Acne Introduction
Acne is the most common and chronic skin disease. It is an inflammatory condition of the sebaceous (oil) glands and hair follicles usually found on the face, the neck, chest and shoulders. Nearly eight out of ten young people between the ages of 12 and 24 suffer from the some degree of acne. It is closely related to the disturbance in the hormones experienced at puberty.

All of them are concerned with sebaceous glands or the glands connected with hair follicles. The most common from of acne are blackheads and pimples.
Acne Causes
All forms of acne have their origin in wrong feeding habits, such as irregular hours of eating, improper food, excesses of starches and sugar, and fatty foods. Chronic constipation is another major cause of acne. If the bowels do not move properly, waste matter is not eliminated as quickly as it should be and the bloodstream becomes surcharged with toxic matter. The extra efforts of the skin to eliminate excess waste result in acne and other forms of skin disease.
